Color palette & Styling 

There is something special about being able to look at a room and see the color palette flow from the walls to the floor and everywhere in between. For some, color is not a major concern, but for our design stylists, color is everything, and we are so happy to show off our ability to truly make a room look put together. It all starts with the base color, and whether we are working off a builder beige, lovely light blue or even some monotone grey, the walls are the starting point. Next, we start building the room with complementary colors that complement the palette. This will include feature pieces of furniture, and using rugs, or window treatments to add a little splash or play off existing tones. Then comes the accent pieces, and it does not just mean we are slapping up an accent wall. Instead, these pieces could add neutral tones or be a splash of color from pillows to throws and even coffee tables. 

Window treatments 

One of the best ways to help upgrade a room is something as simple as window treatments. Now, when we talk about window treatments, we are not normally referring to tinting your windows; rather, we are talking about curtains and blinds designed to fit your space. Curtains are a great way to add a splash of color or continue a design trend on the wall and create a visual break within the room. From custom curtains to curtain rods that are the perfect accoutrement to your design, these essential pieces of the room can be the finishing touch that makes all the difference. We can also get that same feeling when reworking your existing blind system within the window. We are no longer limited to working with wood or plastic blinds; today, we work with some of the top blind makers in the country and can deliver amazing solar, vertical, and even venetian blinds that will make your room pop.

Our team of designers have worked with countless clients to find the right floor covering for their space. With our great connections to some of the top retailers in the Ohio Valley, we can find the carpet, rug or runner that will be the crème de la crème. Typically, our designers choose natural fibres for their warm glow and durability. From cotton to wool and even seagrass, these natural fibres will give the rustic or homemade look we are going for. However, for some of our clients, wear and tear is the focus, and we can work with polypropylene, nylon, or polyester rugs that are fade- and stain-resistant, making them perfect for homes with pets or small children.
